Anguilla Wildlife Almanac - July
July is a great month to look for Anguilla’s five Lesser Antilles Restricted Range Species. This is the peak nesting season for most of these birds, which are quite active.
Bananquits, commonly known as “Sugar Birds,” also nest at this time of year.
It was a real privilege to see and photograph all five of these restricted range species while visiting Anguilla for the first time in April this year!
