Week one of the 2023 Caribbean Waterbird Census started with wild weather days in Anguilla. High winds, rain, and rough seas marked the first several days making the counts difficult.
I still have a lot of counting ahead, but I am sharing a few of the sites and sounds of the first week on my YouTube channel. If you’re tired of the snow and ugly weather, perhaps this will bring you joy!
Many thanks to everyone who participated in last week’s poll. It seems you all love the Pearly-eyed Thrasher! I will let them know.
Wow, so many birds on the pond. Thanks Jacquie.
