Ten days from the last egg hatch and “Itty Bit’s” chicks are growing steadily. They now fill the nest bowl, and their little bills are over the top. Feathers are developing, and they look more like birds than aliens!
This is due to the unwavering care given to them by “Itty Bit.” My niece, who now has two little boys, told me - “It’s just another day.” The work of being a Mom doesn’t stop for celebrations. Both human and wildlife Moms are tired, but they still take their responsibilities to their children seriously.
“Itty Bit” continues the fifteen-minute feedings and keeps the predators away all day. At night she keeps one eye open just in case!
Happy Mother’s Day to our Hooman and Animal Moms! There’s no one quite like you!
Here are a few moments from “Itty Bit’s” day. Enjoy it to the fullest!
Thanks for this. Love you newsletter!
Happy MD itty!!😍😘
