The week between Christmas and New Year is a time for reflection. Food comas and football fill the days with family and friends. In Anguilla - the “Christmas Winds” blow strong, and the sea is often tumultuous.
This year, we were lucky to have the 13th and final full moon of 2023, known as the “Cold Moon.” It is aptly named because winter is officially beginning in the Northern Hemisphere.
While the moon was full on the 26th of December, we were treated to many spectacular moments before and after.
In the early hours of Christmas Day, the spectacular moon set over Shoal Bay East. It resembled a sunset with its orange glow.
On the 27th, the Full Moon set in all its glory with a pelican flyby!
I look forward to more exciting celestial happenings in 2024!
So beautiful.
I enjoy every Wildside Adventure of yours! Thank you Jackie. Wishing you many blessings in the new year.
