The Second Egg Has Hatched
When “Itty Bit” asked me to babysit this morning, little did I know her second chick was hatching!
As you can see from the photo above, the egg is still on the chick’s head and bottom. It is still a bit wet.
Meanwhile, Mom went off to find food for the first chick. I was a good babysitter and ensured the Pearly-eyed Thrasher kept its distance.
