White Cedar Season in Anguilla
With Spring in full swing, Cherry Blossoms line the Patomic in Washington, and Rochester, New York, has the Lilac Festival. Both attract large crowds of tourists annually.
Anguilla has its blooms on the scene at this time of year - White Cedars!
Recent rains have made all our trees pop, lining our roadways and fields with stunning color.
Several years ago, Anguilla chose its National Symbols. The White Cedar bloom was designated Anguilla’s National Flower as part of that process.
Not only are these brightly colored blooms beautiful, but they also provide a tasty snack for our birds. Lesser Antillean Bullfinches are particularly fond of them.
